My first interest in racing was Road Racing,
and the initial motivation for buying FPR1 was to go road racing. For
our first six years, we were lucky to have the main road race facility in Western Canada, Race City Motorsport
Park, located at our team base in Calgary. Now that
the team is based in Ottawa, we are even luckier to have one of the best roadcourses in the world (no, seriously!), Mosport,
located just a few hours west of us. In addition to the bulk of the CASC-OR (Ontario Road Racing sanctioning body) events
in Mosport, we also race once a year at the local Ottawa track, called Calabogi, which is also a super track built just
a few years ago carved out of beautiful Eastern Ontario cottage country. For the first
four years we Road Raced and Rallied the same car, but in 2008 we introduced
“FPR3” our dedicated road-race car. Check out the (growing!) collection of Road Race incidents.
